SMS Terms and Conditions
Updated October 28, 2026
Eighty Staff Delivery Alerts
Eighty, operated by Ruxton Technology, LLC, sends transactional delivery-order text notifications to participating store owners and designated employees who agree to receive them. Messages identify the store, order creation time, order total, order reference, and an order-management link. These are operational alerts, not marketing messages. These terms apply to this SMS program; retailer purchase, return, and delivery policies remain separate.
Optional enrollment and consent
Before enrolling a recipient, the store administrator must obtain and retain that recipient's separate written permission for Eighty staff delivery-alert texts. The administrator then adds or selects the recipient in the store's delivery settings and records confirmation of that permission. Having a phone number in Square or working at a store does not by itself give permission to receive texts.
Use the public Staff SMS Consent Form to review the disclosures and provide written permission. The recipient completes, checks, signs, and dates the printed form and returns it to the store administrator for secure retention. The blank form does not enroll recipients online. We do not offer SMS-keyword or verbal enrollment for this program.
Participation is optional. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase and is separate from acceptance of these terms or the privacy policy. Only enroll a phone number you are authorized to use, and notify your store administrator if it changes.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with delivery-order activity and the recipient's notification settings. Employees selected for on-duty alerts receive notifications only when current clock-in information is available at the store's location. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for information about your plan.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out. Ask your store administrator to remove your number from the recipient list as well. Stopping staff alerts does not cancel an order, change a payment, or cancel a courier booking.
Reply HELP for help. You can also contact your store administrator or visit Eighty Support. The support page provides the signed-in account support form. Contact support before re-enrolling after an opt-out so renewed consent and messaging permissions can be checked.
Delivery limitations
SMS delivery depends on mobile networks and service availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text alerts are not an emergency service or a guarantee that an order or courier will arrive at a particular time. Store staff should use their order-management system as the authoritative source for order status.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how phone numbers, consent records, employee information, and messaging diagnostics are handled. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
